FIESTA: Third project meeting in Croatia
The third FIESTA project meeting took place in Rijeka (Croatia) from 21st – 22nd October 2015, gathering representatives of all project partners, with the intent of reflecting on the tasks realized so far, as well as joint planning of upcoming activities.
While the first part of the meeting was mostly dedicated to project management issues and presentations of FIESTA municipalities focusing on their experiences and exchange of best practices in day-to-day operation of FIESTA Energy Help Desks, as well as the organization of thematic workshops and FIESTA lottery, the second part of the meeting served as an opportunity to share knowledge and information about the organization of consumer purchasing groups (CPGs). For that purpose, two guest presentations were held, one by Ms. Giorgia Caroli, the coordinator of project Clear (www.clear-project.eu) via video conference, and the second one by Mr. Davide Sabbadin from the Legambiente Association. Following the insights gathered from these presentations, a discussion on the best models for CPGs' implementation was raised, resulting with the tailored solutions for CPGs setup in every FIESTA partner country.
