Energy, Environment and FIESTA
Regional Energy Agency Kvarner was happy to present project FIESTA at the international congress Energy and the Environment 2016 held from October 26th to October 28th, 2016 in Opatija, Croatia.
This international gathering of technical experts, being the 25th in a series, consisted of two conferences and an exhibition of equipment and new technologies in the fields of environmental protection, efficient use of energy and renewable sources of energy.
The first conference, “Climate change and energy security in Southeast Europe: technological, institutional and legal challenges” was primarily devoted to environmental protection issues, while the second conference, “Clean Energy for a Better World” was centred around renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, featuring among other talks the presentation of projects FIESTA (CIP IEE) and SIMPLA (H2020) done by REAK's representative.
The international congress Energy and the Environment 2016 enabled participants to present their latest research results, past experiences, future visions and practical experiences in the field of energy and environmental protection through a full range of topics that reflect the multidisciplinary nature of these important areas of human activity. Also, it served as an important networking event and a potential starting platform for some exciting new projects.
